９月２１日(金）「削ろう会アメリカ」の一行３０名が上松技術専門校を訪れました。
カリフォルニア州にあるパロマワーキングカレッジ（http://.palomar.edu/woodworking/)の指導者や木工家、大工さんなど木工に携わる方々の来校でした。
木工科から木材工芸科まで、ゆっくりと見学していきました。

「削ろう会アメリカ」の方々に向けての校長挨拶です。

Hello. Nice to meet you.
I am Annou, this school's principal.
Thank you for your visiting to our school.
As you see, here is a small school surrounded by mountains.
This school was established by Nagano Prefecture for vocational training of woodworking.

We have two subjects here, which are woodworking and woodcraft, and the working period is one year.
About 40 students gather from all over Japan and the mainly here practical training here.
I hope the students can whittle a piece of wood into very thin pieces, like Mr. Kamijyou always does someday.

Now I’ll finish explanation of this school, and you’ll have a tour next.
Of course you can ask the students anything directly, but I’m not sure who can answer it in English.
